Emmit Flynn is a sculptor engaged in a long-term study of scale, form, and memory, grounded in years of drawing and visual study.
His work moves between carved stone and handwoven metal, with an ongoing interest in animals, material, and objects encountered at close range.
Recent metal sculptures are formed by individually making and interlocking hundreds of rings in sterling silver, titanium, niobium, copper, and brass. Flynn lives and works in Connecticut.
